Keep or Return?

The other day I was walking through Nordstrom (yes, had to buy socks) and stumbled upon this blush pink purse by Vince Camuto. Never heard of this line, but I thought the bag was quite pretty. Couldn't help myself...had to buy it. Buttery leather and the prettiest blush/neutral pink.

Dilemma...I just saw online that it comes in grey and other colors. I wear mainly black and white.

Do you think it's too "cutesy" or trendy for a 50 year old hag? Which color do you like?

Wanted...

My favorite find of the season from Reddoll on Etsy. A military-style, double-breasted wool coat with a high collar, circle metal buttons, and black satin lining throughout the coat. The skirt is a full cut circle. Custom-made to fit you!

Ruffles... are you loving them or all ruffled out?

Have you noticed that ruffles are appearing everywhere? Shirts, dresses, shoes, jewelry, home decor...the list goes on. I must say, I'm fond of ruffles in moderation.

The bedding above is from Anthropologie. You like?

I actually purchased the grey cardigan above. It's fun to wear with jeans. I like wearing it over a black or white top and pinning it together with a large vintage brooch. Adds a little glamour and pizazz.

Ruffles on gloves, pillows, handbags, boots. Is the trend going too far?

There is always room for a ruffled cake, don't you think?

How do you feel about ruffles? For those of you who don't live in the US, are ruffled items a hot trend in your neck of the woods as well?
